MomL: You really need to start making a scrapbook with all his antics and sayings along with a picture of him at that age. He is just a brilliant little boy. He said his dentist appt went ok, but now he has a gray tooth.

MomL: The main thing I remember about the concert was trying to find something to keep me occupied while until it was over. I couldn't go anywhere because I had to stay where you all could find me afterwards. It was fun, though. I can't believe you were so touched by that.

MomL: Sleepovers. Ugh! I didn't like staying at other's people's houses because I was one of those little girls who got touched and was afraid to tell. I'm sorry, but I don't encourage sleepovers, unless they are at my house. There were so many times that my friends(with the yucky dad) begged me to stay because they stayed with me last. I wanted so badly for my mama or daddy to be able to read my mind to know how badly I didn't want to go. If I had to raise my children again, I would have a secret sig
MomL: Missie, we miss you all so much. Being apart just gets tougher & tougher, but I know God will intervene and make it all okay. You must just trust him and stay intune with him as much as you can so you can rejoice where you are now and rejoice in where you go next. MomL: Missie, I remember that horrible monster! I remember how hard we laughed at him, too. Do you remember the time we tape recorded your dad snoring and he still wouldn't believe us? I'm glad you finally got to open your doors to let some fresh air in. I think you guys just keep breathing each other's contaminated germ air and getting sicker. MomL: I am sooooooooooooooo jealous! Oh, well, I have talked to Dad about getting that RV when he retires so we can go to all the games while we're spending 3 months out of each year with one of our 4 children, while living in our RV. Reunion/school day

We had a wonderful time at our family reunion this weekend.  WOW!  A lot of us spent the entire weekend at the Lodge at Robbers Cave.  It was so much fun.  We chatted, we played the wii, we ate, we laughed, we just had a great time.  I am totally exhausted. 

As we were leaving on Sunday Jade, Teresa, the kids and I  went up to the Caves (we didn't get to do that during the reunion, b/c Hurricane Ike decided to keep things really wet!!!).  We climbed to the cave and then we letterboxed.  There is a series of 5 letterboxes there. We found all of them!  There was a lot of water.  Matt drank out of a small "creek" like one of the "old cowboys" must've done. 

Right now the kiddos are doing their school work.  Shai is absolutely LOVING her language.  It seems so funny to me, b/c our first year doing it she cried EVERY day.  Now she'll get it out and work on it just for fun!  She HATES math though. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about this.  (Actually, while I was typing this, she got in such a tizzy I sent her to bed b/c she was crying...again.  UGH)

Matt is learning number WORDS right now. He is not happy about that.  He is doing very well in his reading.  He still can't figure out why 3 isn't spelled with an "s" though! He usually loves math...but this reading that is involved right now means it isn't near as fun. He'd rather stick to the pluses and minuses.

I started this in a really good mood...and thanks to Shai and MATH I am now frustrated.  There HAS to be a better way.
